I guess I need a 10K fixture for my venture into salt and corals. The tank is a 20G tall, 24" wide. The current fixture is 23" and sits atop the hood assembly. Anyone got something laying around? Bill

so...where did you find that one?? that fixture is the one I am looking for ATM.

Now bill yes, t-5 HO would be the best bet I believe, one 10K and one atantic bulb. I think Fin and Feather had some good prices on fixtures last time my friend purchased one.

I don't have a fixture, but I think I have some bulbs in the garage you can have for the cost of shipping.

Bill, you need 2 bulbs each on its own switch. You are gonna need to run the blue longer than the white, white is 'midday' and blue is 'full sun cycle' .... pretty much

Really depends on what you want to keep in the tank. Soft or hard corals? fish only? (sort of small for a fish only tank IMO). T5 HO? MH?, LED? lighting is the key to corals. Do research before you waist money on lighting for the tank. I hate to say it but this is one area you don't want to think just cheap.

If you can locate one with a built in overflow and a sump that would be good!

Wow my spare tanks are larger than yours! And I am down to a 29g,20gL and a 10g! (well the 210g dont count, it just sits there and taunts me)
