Hi all. I just found out about this forum from Rama at skoolz. I caught the fish fever around the age of five and can't remember a time when I didn't have at least one tank. Before my wife and I had kids I had a small (10 tank) angel breeding room. But Now we have a six year old and four year old triplets so no time for that. Now I have a 75 with four Apistogramma borellii, breeding pair of bristle nose plecos, and neons. I also have a 20H and a 10 that are ready for something. I recently received another 20H and a 15 ready to set up. My kids might be following in my footsteps the just asked for tanks of there own. Last weekend I gave each of them a five gallon for there rooms. My 6 year old has a Mexican dwarf crayfish in his tank. As a kid I worked in a fish store in NC, during that time I was able to order whatever I wanted at wholesale. I got spoiled and took over my parents garage with about 25 tanks. I hope to get a real fish room again at some point in my life.

Welcome to the club. We love seeing pictures of member's tanks. Post some pics if you have any.

Here you'll find plenty of plants, angelfish, and shrimp for sale, trade, or even free. Let us know what you plan on putting into the new tanks and we'll see if we can help out.

Cisco!   Hi from Chesterfield. 936075699  to the forum!
As stated, I'm sure you'll find plenty of help/stock here.
As stated, TRIPLETS?  It's got to be a circus at times... but, like a circus, a heck of a lot of fun!
Please, please let me / us know if you get your apisto's spawning!  I know you'll find at least one buyer here!

Thanks everyone.

neogeo20041- I would love to post pics butt i'm not good at photography. I just got the apistos last week from Rama, not in there breeding colors yet. I might try to get a few
shots this weekend.

williemcd - Yes life is a TRIP! I hope I can get them to breed. I have only had them for a week now but I do have hi hopes.

Doxiemom- I do love angels! When I used to breed them I was kind of partial to dark marbles ans smoky. I might jump back into angels again in the future. I live in the Triple
Crown subdivision. Very close to to hull and 288.

Amp2020- I hate to say it but my 75 is etched pretty bad I cant get it 100% clear so any pictures of my tanks would never look that good. But it does keep me happy. I hope
to get something bigger and better some day but for now time and money are kinda tight.

Thanks everyone.
Chris

Yes...I got a 75 bowfront whole set up with filter stand & all!! Drove all the way to Charlottesville and tank was terribly scratched. I turned it down so as not to offend the man and he said "offend me!..I need to get rid of it!" Soooo...$100, lots of compound...a car buffer and muscle!!...and more muscle! Mine looks much better though!!

Scratches are tough to remove but etched glass from mineral build up is fairly easy by comparison. But does take some elbo grease as well.
