Marineland Stealth heaters. Empty Marineland Stealth heaters.

A few years ago, Marineland recalled their line of heaters labeled the Stealth.  They were found to be a hazard with breakage and overheating.  The retail outlets gave us a year to return them for exchange or a full refund.  That year has long passed but:  I contacted Marineland about their return policy and they agreed to refund me in full for replacement heaters.  It took them a while but they stood behind their product.  They've emailed me a pre-paid UPS label which will go out as soon as Ira locates the 5 units he's shipping back!  If you've a Stealth heater, here's a chance to upgrade your heaters!  Bill

That is WONDERFUL! They should get Kudo's for standing behind the product. Breakage is usually our fault, too!! Leaving heaters on when doing WC causes the glass to expand/contract and eventually weaken.....this is why they always seem to crack near the top. Too bad I throw mine away! Think I had one or two of these!!
