Hi, my name is Lane Kelly and I'm a long time hobbyist, primarily interested in cichlids.

I currently have a 72 bowfront with:

Xystichromis phytophagus ("Christmas Fulu") - CARES registered
F2 Aulonocara sp. "Chitande Type Masinje"
Bristlenose pleco

40 gallon breeder with:
F1 Aulonocara sp. "Chitande Type Masinje" trio (breeding)
Xystichromis phytophagus ("Christmas Fulu")
Bristlenose pleco

75 gallon with:
Xystichromis phytophagus ("Christmas Fulu")
Paralabidochromis chromogynos - CARES registered, hoping to breed
F2 Aulonocara sp. "Chitande Type Masinje" trio
Albino Bristlenose pleco

29 gallon with:
F2 Aulonocara sp. "Chitande Type Masinje"

20 gallon with:
Xystichromis phytophagus ("Christmas Fulu") holding female

20 gallon long with:
F2 Aulonocara sp. "Chitande Type Masinje" fry


As you can tell, I'm really interested in some of the harder to find (and endangered) Victorian area cichlids. Any questions or comments hit me up!

Dangit.... We recently had a member (Alowishus) move out of the area that was big in Lake Vic's... And the C.A.I.R.s program... He since went off the deep end and entered the dark side by going 100% SALT!...

The last I checked, the CARES program/website had been idle for years! Are you still active with some of the founders/members?
