Oh...lol...I know them by Philippine blues not kk blues. That is what most people I know call it. The albinos that I have are all double dose phillipine blues. The blue babies that I'm about to get are also double dose pb.

Thinking a bit longer on it... fish keepers, breeders, developers like KK might be an alternate source for your genetic research pursuit... Sometimes those actually doing the work/effort have a differing perspective than those that are funded and possibly might be influenced to support additional funding. I'm a free market capitalist as you might discern. Another breeder ya might wanna yak with, and he's most inviting with exchanges, is Joe Garsas on Aquabid... and his efforts to develop the Electric blue Ram as well as his contribution to the other Ram varieties. I know but Mr ken don't really call it that. Sometimes that naming can create confusion. Also just read it funds Mr, kens work. Still pretty expensive. Angelplus has very nice angel as well but his prices are very reasonable.

Neo.. .I thought this thread was about the origins of Blue in the Angelfish line... I'm NOT promoting AngelUSA or ANY other source.. Just an insight as to the beginnings of the line... Perhaps a thread titled "Sources for Buying Angels" is next up?..

But .. KK, you're right, KK doesn't call his fish KK blues.. perhaps he's a bit too modest with his efforts but... Do a search for KK blues and you'll get 1000's of hits... RECENT hits... The hobbyist assigns a name that crosses all geographic lines and the KK blue seems to have flourished. Bill

Bill, I was trying to make those new people don't start calling the fish by the wrong name. Then again I have no control of what people call their fish. For I'ding purpose, it's best to stick with proper name that was intended for universal understanding. I apolize if I was misunderstood.
