Would tiger barbs work with angels? Or does it work for that tank because of how crowded it is? I've always kept my barbs and angels in separate tanks for fear that the barbs would tear their fins up.

Finding Altums is quite a quest.  There are rumor's of them having been bred in captivity.. Germany is one location I recall.  The do require quite a bit of tank space at they grow rather large, attaining a size of 10" or more from tip to tip (Tall measurement).. One site recommends a 55G for a pair!  Importation of the wild caught's is limited to just a few months of the year.  If ya find any, PLEASE let the group know.... I know of a few on here that would practically die for a few!  Bill
