Fish food just for that breed

16 oz of pureed catfish nuggets
8 oz of green pea baby food
8 oz of sweet potato baby food
4 oz of mango or peaches fresh is better for the mango puréed skin an all peaches the same canned or fresh just make sure to de pit the fruit if fresh
1/2 tables spoon of garlic
1 teaspoon of garlic fresh is better powder is ok just no garlic salt
4 cups of cold water
12 cups of hot boiling water
1 box of Knox non flavor gelatin
1 cup of fish flake food
1 large pan
1 blender
1 measuring cup glass is better
All water should be used from tank no tap water are bottled water your tank had the enzymes you need.
First place all veggies an fish in large mixing bowl mix well mashing chunks if any appear
Next add your fruits blend slowly in blender or ninja or manic bullet
One all veggies an fruits are blended into creamy paste like material
Add the flakes or crushed fish food
Dissolve all packs of Knox in the four cups of cold water
Let stand for two minutes
Add the cold mixture to your bowl stir in well.
Add one cup of boiling at a time while stirring mixture
One you've added all the remaining hot water place mixture in a plastic pan or layered cooking pan ( Saran wrapped pan) let mixture cool for six hours are longer
Once done cut in desired squares for fish size an feeding habits
This mixture contains vitamin c , iron , an immune boosters. The baby food has plus iron for the growing body the cat fish is common in all fresh water so there fry are often eaten
By predator fish. The fish food gives it consistency an balanced color production for the fish. Garlic will help with digestion an give a large immune boost to fight bacteria an repair scrapes an scars. Finally your fish will love you for a balanced close to wild diet, this will help your young fish are fry grow to his mature form.
My fish love these cubes I freeze them in bags after I cut them they've already doubled in size in three weeks the Colors have gotten brighter an vivid plus my aggression level has dropped amongst the two males. Try it it'll save you a lot plus you will see the change

Very interesting. Always did want to make my own fish food. Just never got around to it. I did meet a person who minced beef heart into blocks for his fish. I'll have to see if the wife will allow me to use her blender for fish food. Just won't tell her what's going into it.

Yeah it does but to tell the truth your using house hold foods an you can always substitute any meat to fruit an veggies for the less ugly approach so to say since I'm the primary chef at times wifee doesn't mind she just Clorox everything lol

I made my own food for Discus...Some beefheart mix. When you make it...use the egg crate stuff from Lowes to make the cubes. WORKS AWESOME!!

Sitting at work reading F&S there's an article about feeding your fish faux foods in place of beef hearts. Its an all veggie mix that has all the protein an iron. Well back to watching the snow melt an the real fun began the refreeze

A friend of mine did the beefheart but used saran wrap and made it as flat as possible.  I kinda like dox's suggestion for cubes instead...Bill
