forum update.

At the last meeting of the admins and founder and past admins, there was great discussion as to the breadth of the forum... Case in point... Our salt-water section hasn't been updated in close to a year since a prior admin, getting into salt, moved away.... Should we delete that whole section or keep it up for those that might be interested in exploring salt.. or those that are into salt an might join and participate!.. I've no answers and hope you'll all chime in on your feelings, ideas and let your admins know your feelings... It is your fish club after all.

how hard is it to combine all the past salt posts into a general saltwater section and if we got members into salt to expand it again if needed?

Based on the fact that there are an abundance of SALT specific forums....I still think we should just delete that section. Fresh & Saltwater hobbyists speak different languages. We should build on what we have here.

I'd have to agree that it's probably best to delete it and focus on the sections that are actually being used. It will help us build our own identity and let others know what this forum is about.

Yes! Get rid of it. Our focus is fresh water and we don't have enough active saltwater folks.
