Anyone got a preference for your heaters? I've just discovered that two of my 300W stealths were stone cold... Bill

Jager heaters extremly durable and lost a long time. The only downsize is they are kind of long.

I'm a firm believer of using two undersized cheap heaters as opposed to getting an expensive heater. I also like to use temperature controllers with audible alarms when the temp is too high or too low. I've seen every heater on the market fail at some point.

Bill...a high $$ heater is just as cold as a cheapy when they break!! LOL...I order them off eBay in quantity!! Having more than one in your tanks will take "strain" off each one and may save fish lives if one breaks!!

Amp/Dox...
Amp... I generally run 2 heaters for each tank as suggested...
Dox..Yea, I've a box of expensive heaters that have lived beyond their lifetimes..(all if not most acquired as part of a "deal") . No "brands" you buy in bulk?
