December plant swap meeting, any volunteers?

Would anyone be willing to host a plant swap meeting? Could be at a home or public location with permission. The only location that I could suggest would be Petco at Westchester Commons.

At the meeting we could discuss potential group buys, propagating techniques, aquascaping techniques, possibly hold an aquascaping contests or demonstration, plan trips for local collecting, and of course swap/buy plants from each other. I'm willing to donate some plants and equipment as raffle prizes or door prizes for everyone that attends the meeting.

So who can host the December meeting, when and where?

My December is pretty booked as far as hosting.. I can probably accomodate in late Jan!.. I'd like to get my fishroom reorganized prior to though... I know, I know, I've been threatening/professing to doing that all summer/fall and now it's winter... We have had about 12 in here and that was with an additional 125 set up!

@bill if you have everything planned; how about we help you as a team for your fish room??? Good way to get everyone together and show how a fish room is built. While doing other things like plant swap, discussion, breeding programs and etc.

I'm all for free labor!... I tend to procrastinate unless under a deadline.. (as some of my prior clients about that!)... Schedule a date, I'll be ready to rock and roll! I'm sure I can wrangle VaNewKid into helping! He's a bull! Bill

Good way to roll a anniversary party???

I'll supply the beer and food! A half hour planning session would be in order given that with the weather, we'll not have a whole lotta elbow room avail to facilitate the change.... Plus, I'll need to pick up some material for stands and electrical supply! Bill
