Lost a blue plat breeder yesterday!

Water conditions are pristine! They were in with the Discus and trying to breed so I set transfered them about a month or so ago to a 29G. They took turns a couple of times with one ready to breed but the other not "in the mood". Got up yesterday to turn on the lights and one was floating. No injury, no clue. So Dox.. I hope their siblings are churning out fry to maintain the legacy! Bill

Sorry about the loss. Those unexplained fish losses can be really frustrating, especially when it is a beauty and a breeder.

It sucks when you loose fish for no apparent reason but my DD fries are still waiting for you to pick them up

Bill....That really stinks!! Sorry to hear of the loss. How is the other fish? acting normal?
The pair at "Club Doxie" have spawned 2 times.....one batch of fry taking the Angel shape...one lost as a meal to the parents.
We can work out when you are ready for the fry...in a week or so. Prep a tank, you have about 50!!

I'm going to be looking for some pearlscale or what not as soon as I setup my hexa this coming week .

Great news on your end Dox.. the other one is doing great but she's solo in a 29G and feel for her loneliness.... I had to pull a gold out of VaNew's tank and he has another 29G so thought about joining them.. Looks like a m gold, f pearl...
Remember, We've got to ship a few (1/2 doz.?) of the fry to Vix in Fla.(my expense). I for myself would like a 1/2 doz.. we need to get some to neo... umm... swap the rest for what you'd like to try next! Bill

Onik....Got you covered on the pearls....you've just been given some of these Platinum Blue Pearlscales I'm raising!! I've also got some 1/2 dollar sized golds...pearl veils and pearl wide fins if you want. (same parents as Johnnys angels).

Yes!!! umm....I wasn't thinking this before but bill you can also pick up the DD fries for doxie too I have about 16 and sadly one of them is deformed so I can give you guys about 5 each sounds good? O.o. Give me like two weeks and once I have my things setup I will come get those angels; not sure what I want but some marbles or sunset blushing would be super nice :p. Bill I'm also going to need tons of plants in two weeks for when I setup my hexa just giving up a heads up :p.I have two male plat that was left over from the original ten I bought from angelplus. did you autopsy? I like to check for internal parasites with the unexplained deaths like that.
