My wife hates my tank, she wants more color and more action in it. The tank has apisto, neons and bristle nose. Any ideas as to what to add to make her happy? The tank is 75 gallon planted.

A school of Cardinal tets is striking... 12-16... or.. 6 of them, 6 lemon tets, and pick out another selection of schooling tets provides color and a bit of movement. Some folks like tiger barbs but I've found them to be fin-nippers and basically carp and of no interest to me....A school of pygmy cory's... lemons, orange etc add color and life also....

How many apistos do you have? I have a pair in a community tank and they ruN one corner and nobody else is allowed in. They're in with turquoise rainbows and a couple schools, neons, rummynose, turquoise rainbows.

One nice male, a sleeper male and 5 females along with a decent school of neon and a pair of bristle nose plecos.

They do great in with what I have them with, but I tell you what really made mines color pop, I switched from a mixed gravel substrate to all black substrate, and its like the color tripled in my apisto male, and every other fish in the tank, it blew my mind how much brighter they seemed

I like my safe-t-sorb to much to change out substrate. I like my tank, she is going to have to get over it. lol
