Forum changes
Last night I played around with the admin panel. Let me know what you think of the new widget on left side of the screen. It shows the newest threads or posts I've been having trouble with the newest post link not showing any new posts since my last visit and the ones that do appear will not appear the next time I visit. So if I don't visit all the new posts then I miss out on recent topics. I figure this widget will help increase member activity and make things easier to find the newest posts without digging through each section.
Speak up if you like it or not. It can be modified to be longer, shorter, or wider. Just can't make it any narrower. I can also make it scroll up or down.

Re: Forum changes
Done.
Is displaying 25 postings too many? Let me know if I need to shorten the list.

Re: Forum changes
I feel like 10 latest post should be good enough.

Re: Forum changes
Another suggestion perhaps?
Rather than having to scroll down to the bottom of the home page, if you limit the "recent posts"... what about another sidebar of: "Who's logged on?"... Bill

Re: Forum changes
Is it possible to have a breeders corner?? Instead of breeding list and theory.

Re: Forum changes
Breeder's corner does sound more appealing and inviting. What does everyone else think?

Trying to have more sections but also trying to keep it more appealing and less redundant.

Re: Forum changes
@bill I'm going to be doing a lot of update this week. A lot of things are going to be out of whack but I'm just playing. So don't be alarmed. I'm trying to combine most of the threads in few big categories without deleting any.
Just added a pop up login message. In order to see the message just log out and log back in.

Re: Forum changes
Neo.. .have you figured out how to initiate a "backup" of the existing format?... I've poked around the admin functions but haven't stumbled across information on how to set a roll-back position. Let's get a backup before major overhauls ok? Bill

Re: Forum changes
Yes. I will try to find how to back up everything before I make major changes.
