Willie's Breeding List
Going way back to the early 70's for some of these.
Jack Dempseys.
Guppies and assorted live-bearers (swords, mollies)
German Blue Rams.
Leleupi cichlids (Lake Tanganyika).
Angels of too many varieties.
Kribensis (African softwater fishes)
Next up: Bolivian Rams.

Didn't know you liked messing around with dwarf cichlids.

Re: Willie's Breeding List
Yea.. the Central/South Americans... They do well with my water parameters... (Soft and low ph)... Plus the higher temps than Africans.. At one time I had 3 African tanks set up, one for each major African lake..
But an old sage advised me long ago:
Pick an interest in fish that are compatible with your existing water supply. Fighting your normal conditions is an unending battle..One that requires constant monitoring and dosing of adjustments. A practice that more often than not doesn't work out too well in the long run... particularly if you need to have someone baby-sit your setups for any length of time. Bill
p.s. Left one off my list! I got a pair of triple red Apistogamma's (aggazzi) to spawn once!

Yea. Oddly enough, when I belonged to the fishbox, Va Chapter, at a meeting, we had auctions and I bid on an Apisto Agazzi that had been donated from Rama....long before I knew him! Got the fish for $5.00.. and paid 25 for another pair from a breeder in NC. That was about 2.5 years ago...

Re: Willie's Breeding List
Dox... I hardly think you need ANY assistance with your ops... Fact of the matter is, my GBR's only bred and subsequently discovered by a neighbor that dropped in! I can however state: The bolivians are prepping a spot and I've expectations of a spawn in the next day or two.. Bill

Verb.. The reality is that once ya provide the cover, the heat and the lower ph. It's kinda of a "stand out of the way" effort... Next up is rearing them! Bill
