Apistogramma cacatuoides have fry!!!
Let me start this by saying my 20H is ugly. I decided I was going to change it over to a plant tank today. I just finished getting the floramax in a second 20H and was about to drain the ugly tank when I saw her. A pissed off mom! She had a cloud of free swimmers around her. The Apistogramma viejita I got at the last club meeting really like each other and blessed me with a spawn. I didn't condition her, only eating flake and freeze dried worms, so I was not expecting it. So needless to say the plant tank is on hold. now I need to scrounge around to find something to feed these guys. This is my first Apistogramma spawn i'm guessing bbs or micro worms? Any help is appreciated. I will try to get some pictures of them if I can, just remember I know the tank looks like crap. Thanks.

Cisco...
I've got a few cultures of MW's running you're welcome to one... as does a few other members. In a pinch, I have had success with a product called: "First Bites" by Hikari... Others might be able to help ya out with bbs... Bill
p.s. Keep me in mind when you're ready to sell-off some apisto's! Bill Still

Thanks for the worm offer. Not sure when I would be able to get over to pick it up. Are you anywhere near 288 and hull? This week is crazy heck every week is crazy. If I can raise them up i'll be happy to share. Its my first spawn of any apisto, so hope I can do it.

Ok I need your help. According to apistogramma.com These fish are not Apistogramma viejita but are A. cacatuoides. Anyone that is good with Apistogramma ID? I am new to them and not sure what I am buying sometimes. I just want to make sure I don't keep a spawn of crosses.
