I know the guy that had it for a while .Give it a good place to hid, that you can drop some pellet to. don't feed too many algae waffers.more meat.

That is definitely correct on the diet. The "Cactus" plecos(the Pseudacanthicus genera) are carnivorous. A breeder of them in Michigan raises them on NLS pellets. I have a couple of the Pseudacanthicus spinosus - L160 and that is what I feed them.
