Just chatted a bit with Ira regarding the show concept. Apparently in the distant past he used to participate in a fish group that put on shows at libraries, or malls and it's purpose was to expose others to the hobby. Say having 5-6 tanks set up.. maybe a live demo or a number of tanks in various states of being set up.. Volunteers of course to bring a tank and set up to showcase some of their prize fish or plants... Suggestions on this idea would be most appreciated! Bill

Sounds very cool but sounds like it will need time and good management.

There's a very spacious coffee shop in my neighborhood - Taza - http://www.tazacnc.com . It also has hand made chocolates and locally grown produce, etc etc.

The upstairs is basically bare and I know the manager...

He may be willing to have the tanks set up for a while. And the coffee is REALLY good.
