Diaphragms for Linear Air pumps.

HELP... I've two electro-magnetic piston air-pumps that require a diaphragm ..plus another member has a few. The manufacturer's suggest replacing the "phrams" yearly. I can find them online but surely there is a home remedy. These are basically thin membrane disc's, ranging from 1.5 inches in diameter and more. They need to be rigid enough to support covering the air-intake-ports on the exhaust stroke and yet flexible to allow importation of air on the intake stroke. Anyone got a material in mind for this application? Bill

Been working on that one for years easier and cheaper to buy one online but it's been awhile since I've tried.
