And just sold a veil plat pearl and veil gold pearl proven breeders for the same price today and they were borderline widefins.

Yall want nice angels make a trip down here to boardroom aquatics, Perls, plats, veils, blues, marbles, blacks, golds, all local raised good looking guys! And the price is way better than those guys!

That is great to hear that there is a Local Fish Store providing high quality and low prices. I can see how if they are getting them directly from a breeder, they would be able to offer pretty much unbeatable prices.

The angelplus prices seem in line with what aquabid sellers are asking for pairs. I have not dealt with angelplus, but it looks like their photos that they have high quality angels.

Personally....have never done business with them. I have, however had many people tell me what they bought was NOT what they got. The pics are very pretty, though. I think the market dictates the prices for sure. If you find a GOOD, HIGH QUALITY breeder pair at a LFS around here.....you should buy it!!

That stinks to hear they seem to not be delivering on those nice photos. I have some more local potential sources for angels, so I probably would not have to order unless it was something exotic.

You really can't get better WYSIWYG(What You See is What You Get) than a Local Fish Store

If your lfs would buy from garage breeders they would get better healthier stock for cheaper. I know my lfs prefers homegrown over wholesale. Fish and plants!

What size do they buy the BN plecos at?

Roughly 2" some are 3" all depends on what I am able to catch out of their 75g grow out or 125g community/breeding tank.

It also depends on the store most would probably like them larger, my dad's tank is way over populated with them so my boss is ok with the smaller ones for now.
